About the 2016 Democratic Party Platform

If you read the 2016 Democratic Party Platform (55 pages of bovine excrement), Donald Trump is a bigger threat to our country than ISIS.

There are 32 references to Mr. Trump and his evil ways.  There are only 10 references to ISIS.

And there are 46 references to “climate change”.

I guess Secretary John Kerry is right speaking on eliminating hydroflourocarbons from household and commercial products such as air conditioners and refrigerators.  “As we were working together on the challenge of ISIS and terrorism,… It’s hard for some people to grasp it, but what we, you are doing here right now is of equal importance because it has the ability to literally save life on the planet itself.”, said Secretary Kerry at the Montreal summit July 22, 2016.

Darn, there’s a terrorist refrigerator lurking in my kitchen right now!!!  Oh the humanity…

On gun control, they believe “… gun ownership is part of the fabric of many communities…”  They are saying that gun ownership is a quaint country bumpkin tradition.  No mention that they recognize that private firearms ownership is a Constitutional right.

The platform shows you their thought process and direction they want to go.

My Rant on Executive Orders

Isn’t it interesting that a Democrat president incarcerated my grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, along with 120,000 others, with Executive Order 9066?  It took a Republican president to apologize 45 years later.

Isn’t it interesting that President Obama signed Executive Order 13603 that has a provision for forced uncompensated labor (essentially slavery) in “times of national defense”?  Back in the days of Lincoln, who was a Republican, we had a little skirmish called the Civil War over slavery.  Isn’t it ironic that the first “African-American” president wrote the order?

With EO9066 Citizens of the United States had their Constitutional rights rescinded based solely on their race.

The big idea?  When someone says “I have rights”, that’s true only as long as the sovereign allows him to have rights.

The Executive Order by the President of the United States should be eliminated or otherwise severely limited in its application.
