What Is The Cost?

This morning as I was preparing breakfast, I was thinking about changes that have happened because of the Chinese virus.

More and more foods are packaged in plastic and foam plastic to protect us from the virus. My bagels which I used to buy in bulk and place in a paper bag are now individually packaged in plastic bags with a twist tie. Before the virus, I put my bagels in a reusable container and recycled the paper bag. Now because the thin plastic bags used to “protect” my bagels are not recyclable, they just go into the landfill. Plastic bags are made from those “evil fossil fuels” that the Climate Nazis want to ban. What is the “carbon footprint” of using more and more non-recyclable bags?

The same problem arises at the grocery store checkout. Earlier in the pandemic it was illegal to bring in your own reusable shopping bags because of FEAR of spreading the virus.  Now if you bring in your own bags no one in the store is allowed to touch them and you must bag everything on your own. I don’t mind doing that but when I have a lot of groceries it can slow the checkout down as the workers aren’t allowed by law to help. I noticed that almost no one brings their own bags into the store and more of those evil non-recyclable bags are used.  Again, what is the “carbon footprint”?

At a restaurant no sit down dining is allowed, at least in this “woke” state of Kalifonia. Take out is the only way to get restaurant food. And what is that food packaged in? Styrofoam containers  which are about the most environmentally unfriendly of plastics and non-recyclable plastic bags,. Styrofoam is not allowed into the recycle stream here in the most “woke” of states. At a small restaurant I patronize the owner has stacks of cases of Styrofoam containers as all of his orders are now takeout only.  Once again more and more “evil fossils fuels” converted into plastics that end up in the landfill.  You guessed it, what is the “carbon footprint”?

According to Crazy Uncle Joe Biden and his cohorts we’re all dead in less than 9 years because of the “EXISTENTIAL THREAT from the  “carbon footprint” of the United States that is causing ALL of the global warming.

Why is it I don’t hear one peep from all the Green New Dealer Climate Nazis about the how we are accelerating the destruction of the world because of pandemic fears?   Where is our savior, the learned Alexandra Occasional Cortex, in this dire time of need?  Why is she not speaking out?

Or is the more important “EXISTENTIAL” problem to cause MISERY, FEAR, and PANIC in order to get President Trump out of office?

No Glory On Independence Day

Virginia, one of the original thirteen colonies that formed the Continental Congress when we declared independence from the Kingdom or Great Britain, ordered a large United States flag taken down for fear that it would offend the god Blim.

State officials must have forgotten that one of the thirteen stripes of the United States flag represents Virginia.

The Virginia state official said, “When we saw the flag, we were concerned that it could become a target so we told the contractor to remove it… Over the past month, we’ve seen buildings and structures around Capitol Square vandalized and flags, dumpsters, a bus and other items set ablaze during demonstrations around the city,”

The god Blim scores another victory over The Creator in the Declaration of Independence.  “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.“

The official pointed out that the monuments, statues, and other targets by the followers of Blim, represent “systemic racism“.

Yup, setting a sytemically racist dumpster on fire is appropriate because that’s where the minds of the Blimoids belong. Apparently buses are systemically racist as well. Probably because the tires are black and underneath the ‘better parts’ of the bus.  The followers of Blim want the tires on the top of the bus where they rightfully belong.  Hmm, perhaps that’s why they keep turning police cars upside down.

State officials and Blimoids are all F’ing morons.

Black Market Labor Force

Here’s an interesting phenomenon that I have observed.

With all the bans on “non-essential” services such as hair salons, house cleaning, and gardeners, a “black market” for these “non-essential” services exists.

Hair salons are in operation. They ask the customers to park somewhere other than the shop’s parking lot, enter through the back door, and pay in cash. Other beauticians are driving to clients homes and providing “non-essential” services clandestinely, again for cash. House cleaning services are also working surreptitiously on a cash only basis.

What has the prevention of “non-essential” services achieved? It’s easier to list what they DIDN’T achieve.

They DIDN’T achieve the goal of restricting contact.

The DIDN’T collect taxes on any of the services that continue to be provided.

I have not heard of a single person who has gotten sick using the “black market” services.  Goes to show that none of the restrictions were truly effective in preventing the spread of the Chinese Virus.  The government may “think” they did something, but in reality nothing changed.  Unfortunately those in power are out of touch with reality.

And just to make a point on everyone getting “black market” services, take a look at Crazy Nancy Pelosi.

Cosmetic medical procedures are a “non-essential” service. Crazy Nancy still has her FROZEN BOTOX face even though no one is supposed to be able to get BOTOX treatments.
