I’m writing this on August 28, 2021, however I’m not posting this until after the debacle in Afghanistan ends to respect those who died and to those who were left behind.

I believe Joe was confused when he was told, “The Taliban are taking over the country”.

He began singing,

“Come, Mister tally man, tally me banana
Daylight come and me wan’ go home
Come, Mister tally man, tally me banana
Daylight come and me wan’ go home?“

The advisors told him, “No it’s the Taliban with the Haqqanis“.

Joe then started laughing as he regaled that he just watched on the TV (while eating his ice cream) how  F-Troop was dealing with the Hekawis.

The advisors told him, “No we’re not talking about the American West, but Afghanistan in South Asia“.

Joe muttered “Where the Fugawi?“
