Federal regulators just shut off all water for irrigation in Klamath County. The county is along the Oregon-Kalifornia border. It has been the driest season in 127 years. Even the Coho salmon, which are on the endangered species list, will be left to die when the water is shut off. Hopefully all the pot-heads in Kalifornia won’t notice the upcoming weed shortage as both legal and illegal pot farms suck water from the Klamath River. At one time weed was the largest cash crop in the People’s Republik of Kalifornia in that region. Will there be weed rationing and weed lines at the pot shops?
I wonder if the Biden administration is preparing for the all of the weed that will be smuggled across our Southern border, when the weed farms up North (literally) dry up? We like our drugs here in the PRK and so do folks in the rest of the states. The Mexican cartels will be more than happy to fill the demand for weed.
Given that the weed farms will not have water, I predict that the BORDER CRISIS or challenge, as President Biden calls it, will become an EVEN GREATER problem since the US stopped construction of “The Wall” and we have no intention of completing it. Added to that, Customs and Border Protection is too busy babysitting minors and has no resources to stop drug smugglers. The demand for weed will not abate and the cartels know an opportunity when they see it.
Maybe I need to smoke some herb to keep from getting depressed about the incompetence of our leaders.
