Pro-death, abortion activists CHEERED when Governor “Blowhard” Cuomo of New York, signed into law his expanded “rights” to abortion. This includes LATE TERM abortion UP TO the moment of delivery. Woo hoo! What an achievement for humanity.
Cuomo was smiling, as he stated, “Today we are taking a giant step forward in the hard-fought battle to ensure a woman’s right to make her own decisions about her own personal health, including the ability to access an abortion, With the signing of this bill, we are sending a clear message that whatever happens in Washington, women in New York will always have the fundamental right to control their own body.”
Blowhard signed the bill into law on Jan. 23, 2019.
On Feb. 3, less than two weeks after the law was signed, a 35 year old PREGNANT woman was stabbed to DEATH, in the lobby of her apartment, by her boyfriend. The boyfriend was later arrested and arraigned on charges of Second Degree Murder and could face up to 25 years in prison.
The district attorney initially charged the boyfriend with the death of the woman’s UNBORN CHILD, which is usually the case when an unborn child is killed by another, but later dropped that charge because the DA believes the boyfriend COULD NOT be convicted of that charge under CUOMO’s NEW LAW!
I’m not a lawyer nor do I play one on TV, but I would assume that the argument by the defense would be that NO ONE can with CERTAINTY, that is beyond a reasonable doubt, know that this woman would have wanted to carry the child for the NEXT 4 MONTHS without at some point deciding to abort the blob of tissue inside of her. That would be her clear “fundamental right” according to Blowhard Cuomo.
Chalk one up for that “clear message” about “personal health“, and always having the “right to control their own body“. I bet NOT ONE pro-death abortion rights groupie or Blowhard himself figured this is what the law now allows. What is going to be ironic is that the wacky New York legislature most likely WILL NOT be able to FIX this law, because if they try to put in exceptions or clarifications they will be accused of attempting to limit women’s rights.
